In one week we’ll be in Dallas to join the who’s who of restaurant leadership at the annual GuestXM Best Practices Conference. We can’t wait to rub shoulders with restaurant royalty and hear perspectives and insights that are shaping the industry today and into the future.

As a sponsor of the event, we use this opportunity to take these insights and learn how we can better serve our own clients, and to ultimately allow them to better serve their own employee pay needs.

Last Year’s Event

Those who attended the event last year know that an unplanned winter storm ravaged the Dallas area, resulting in cancelled flights and major disruptions to local services.

But the show went on!

Those who attended remained in great spirits, and the surrounding storm brought a sense of camaraderie, despite the conditions outside.

We were fortunate enough to have some time on the main stage last year, as our CEO, Tal Clark sat down for a fireside discussion with Stephanie Callihan, the CFO at Cotton Patch.

Stephanie shared her past experiences with delivering tips electronically, and how Cotton Patch has used Instant Tips to further their own business goals. If you haven’t seen the interview, check it out here.

We also heard from our friends at Opus and GoHappy, and also heard from various GuestXM resources as they shared some insights they observe from aggregated restaurant data.

What to Expect This Year

This year, we’re expecting the same level of insights from these restaurant leaders, with key discussions around:

  • How shifting consumer trends are shaping today’s workforce
  • Best practices in omni-channel guest experiences
  • Data-driven decision-making for improved operations

We’re also going to be hosting another panel discussion this year, as we invite some of our clients to discuss their perspective on the shift in digital payments and what that means for restaurants.

On Day 2 of the event, our panel titled ‘The Evolution of Digital Payments – From Guest to Employee’ will have Mark Heilig from Lazy Dog, Laura McLand from Sun Holdings, and Kevin O’Bold from Ultra Steak on the stage offering up their insights on digital payments, and how that impacts how organizations pay their employees.

We also can’t wait to be part of the annual awards ceremony, where industry leading brands will be recognized for their contributions and accomplishments.

All in all, we know it’ll be another great event, and we are honored to be involved again this year.

See you in Dallas.
